Growing up, I remember how engrossed I was with the Skywalker saga. Now I have the joy of watching my son and daughter grow up loving it too. They have seen all 6 episodes of the “old” and “new” Star Wars a million times. We were counting down the days to the theatrical release of The Force Awakens (episode VII) and now we are stoked that Netflix is streaming the film starting today!
If you have younger kids, they may enjoy watching the animated series The Clone Wars, which I’m told by my son takes places between Attack of the Clones (episode II) and Revenge of the Sith (episode III). My son has been hooked to this for some time (there are 6 seasons), so let me say, my kid knows the meaning of binge-tv!
In addition to The Force Awakens, The Clone Wars series and movie are also streaming on Netflix as well.
It really is amazing how the Star Wars franchise has grown over the decades with dedicated fans young and old. Thank you Netflix for taking us to a galaxy far, far, away.
