I can’t believe we are about to bid the first quarter of 2017 farewell. But thankfully, March was anything but boring. Here are the top 5 things that I wish to share for the month of March.
Build and share your LEGO creations wherever you want thanks to Nimuno Loops. Dubbed “Lego tape“, the block tape has the familiar lego panel on one side and an adhesive on the other. The strip is flexible, can be stretched, even cut with a pair of scissors. As I’m having a “why didn’t I think of that” moment, what’s more shocking is that LEGO didn’t either.

Beauty & the Beast
The long awaited live-action remake starring Emma Watson finally hit theatres this month. I was excited to see it with my daughter, and something very unexpected happened. As soon as the first note of “Be Our Guest” could be heard, my face was streaming with tears. My brain immediately brought me back to when we watched the animated version (again and again) with the kids when they were toddlers. It was one of their favourite movies, though they would tell you that they don’t remember much of the animated version now. I would have never predicted the reaction I had. As the kids get older, and become more independent, I am cherishing every moment we spend together.
Rebirth of Romeo and Juliet
Giving birth is an incredible story in itself, but when 2 babies (strangers) born hours apart on March 19 in the same hospital are named Romeo and the other Juliet, the coincidence is too uncanny not to go viral. To celebrate, the babies even had their very own Shakespearean photo shoot to mark the occasion.
Hot New Toy?
My son had us hustling to every Mastermind and Indigo store over March Break to find this toy. We had absolutely no success, Thumb Chucks were sold out everywhere. The under $10 price tag could be to blame. Could this be the next big thing since the yo-yo or hackey sack?

Even though this post is suppose to be for March, being that tomorrow is April Fool’s Day, I had to share this hilarious and ingenious video. Who says math professors can’t be fun?
