Since the start of the XXII Winter Olympic Games are only weeks away, this is a fantastic time to get tweens into the Olympic spirit with the Sochi 2014 Canadian Olympic Team collection from Hudson’s Bay.
With prices ranging from $8 to $275, there’s something for everyone at all price points. Some of our favourites for tweens include: Snow Top Red Mittens ($10), Canada Toque ($15), Rally Beaver Scarf ($25), Long Sleeve Crest Top ($30), Colourblock Hoodie ($50) and the Twill Replica Jersey ($110). The collection truly symbolizes Canada with the trio of “Maple Leaf Red”, “Northern White” and “Winter Night Black” colours together with the country’s popular animals like the beaver on display.
I recall how excited the kids were at the school 4 years ago, with many proudly showing off their Canadian apparel during the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. That year, Canada went on to win 14 gold medals, the most by any country.
Hudson’s Bay will donate $3.33 for each pair of Red Mittens sold to the Canadian Olympic Foundation, who in turn helps to support current and future Olympians. So, let’s all show our support for the Canadian athletes and cheer on Team Canada at the 2014 Sochi Olympic Winter Games.
Go Canada Go!
