Rubber band Rainbow Loom bracelets popular with tween girls
It seems everywhere I look girls are sporting rubber band multi-coloured bracelets by the multiples. The latest craze is called Rainbow Loom and it’s like the tween version of Silly Bands (remember those days?!). There really wasn’t much you could do with Silly Bands but with Rainbow Loom, girls can crochet their own bracelets hence the huge tween appeal.
The Rainbow Loom kit comes with the Rainbow Loom, 600 latex free elastic bands in various colours, storage tray, mini Rainbow Loom (for on-the-go looming) and instructions. The kit can make up to 24 bracelets with refill packs sold separately. The patterns are endless with girls even showing off their own creations on YouTube.
For under $20.00, this makes for a fantastic gift for girls ages 8+.
You can buy Rainbow Loom at these fine stores across North America.
If you’re in Canada, I’ve seen the Rainbow Loom kit sold at Mastermind Toys for $18.95.
