Being a mom is life changing. From the moment you first become a mother, there’s no denying that you will never be the same. Whether you have one child or many, being a mom may be one of the most challenging and rewarding things you will ever do.
And just when you think you’ve got this parenting gig figured out, your kids become tweens and almost overnight everything changes. Sometimes it feels like you have to learn to be a parent all over again!
There’s no doubt that the tween years can bring new challenges, but they can also bring some wonderful opportunities for new shared experiences, interesting conversations and growing independence.
With Mother’s Day approaching, we thought it would be fun to interview some moms and tweens together, so we reached out to some of the wonderful moms we’ve met through the social media world.
We asked these moms and their tweens how they celebrate Mother’s Day, what type of activities they like to do together, and what makes each other special. We also asked the moms to share some advice about something that they wish they knew as a tween.
We are thrilled with the responses we received and are excited to share them with you.
Starting on May 1st, we’ll be bringing you the responses from these moms and their tweens in a special Moms and Tweens Q&A series. We hope you enjoy them as much as we did!
